Hello, my name is Mrs. Pooja Goel and I am the director of Abhyaas Special School and Learning Centre. As a special educator and counsellor, I hold an M.A and B.ed in mental retardation, a D.ed in learning disability, and a post-graduate diploma in counselling and family therapy.

My journey began in 1999 when I faced numerous challenges while raising my dyslexic son. I struggled to help him in a society that was not readily accepting of differently-abled individuals, especially in terms of education. It was then that I made it my mission to open people’s minds and create a center that would provide all the necessary facilities for special needs children under one roof.

In 2010, my dream came true, and I founded Abhyaas. Since then, it has been a growing endeavor that nurtures the potential of each special child. I am truly grateful to God for giving me the chance to enter this amazing world and for allowing me to serve these people. I consider myself extremely fortunate and hope to continue working for them until my very last breath.
